Hannah McNulty
Hannah is an Occupational Therapist with over 16 years experience, specialising in mental health - specifically complex trauma. Hannah's experience has been gained from a broad range of settings from NHS/ social care and private hospitals, from occupational therapy assistant level right through to clinical lead and also many years’ experience, providing clinical supervision and supporting students.
She has experience working with all ages (small children through to older adults) who have been exposed to developmental/ complex trauma and are needing a focus on stabilisation and emotional regulation to achieve better functioning in any areas of their daily lives. Hannah's post graduate training is within body-based approaches to mental health, with a focus on sensory processing and attachment-based issues. This means she explores mental health difficulties from a holistic mind and body perspective. Her special interest is working with adults who have diagnosed personality disorders/ and or dissociative disorders and children/teens who have been exposed to adverse childhood events (ACE’s). As an experienced ecotherapist, treatment plans can incorporate sessions that utilise the powerful effects of nature to elicit a sense of peace and wellbeing. |
