Welcome to Trauma OT

Trauma OT is a York based occupational therapy service that offers a non-judgemental and compassion focussed approach to practice.

We provide assessment and treatment for children and adults who have been exposed to trauma and are experiencing a range of developmental problems, including difficulties related to being neurodivergent, dissociative symptoms, sensory processing issues and emotional dysregulation.

Focusing on sensory and attachment-based issues we help people repair and re-build their lives using a range of effective therapies. We warmly welcome referrals from individuals, parents/careers, schools, local authorities and other independent organisations/health professionals.
